Thakker Polypack Inds is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of PP woven sacks, BOPP laminated bags and paper-laminated HDPE bags, founded by Ashwin Thakker in Mumbai in 2000. We make nine products to order from 16″ to 26″ for 5–50 kg, food-grade and printed in-house up to 8 colours. We combine the knowledge of a large packaging company with the care of a small one — a global brand and a new start-up get the same service.

OUR STORY
From 2000, built in Mumbai
Thakker Polypack was founded in Mumbai in 2000 and grew out of Ashwin Thakker’s work in flexible packaging, which goes back to 1983 — more than 40 years. Today the company runs two manufacturing units in Bhiwandi, spanning 7,500 and 2,500 square feet, with a team of 40+ people. Capacity reaches 30,000 bags a day.

UNDER ONE ROOF
Facility & capabilities
Two Bhiwandi units run 2 rotogravure and 2 flexographic machines, with twist-gusset, cutting and stitching lines. Printing is in-house up to 8 colours, and an in-house DTP and design desk prepares the artwork, so design, printing and packaging happen under one roof near Mumbai. Woven sacks are made from 700 to 1,000 denier fabric, gusseted, from 16″ to 26″ for 5–50 kg loads.
